Childrens Advil

advil

Children’s Advil: Recently Advil provided me with samples to try out if needed.  My kids have really been healthy lately.  Of course my son got sick in the past week. So I was super happy to have the children’s Advil on hand.  My son loved the flavor and said mom,  this tastes better then others.   His fever came down and he he was able to return to school.  With the amount of school they used for snow days we are need the kids to stay healthy and be in school.

Here is some things I learned According to Advil:

When your child has a fever, you want effective relief you can depend on. Children’s Advil® provides unsurpassed fever relief: nothing relieves fever faster* or keeps it down longer1 – up to 8 hours of relief in just one dose.
– Children’s Advil® contains ibuprofen, the medicine pediatricians use most for their own kids’ fever2
– Provides up to 8-hours of relief
– Infants’ Advil® is available for infants ages 6 to 23 months, Children’s Advil® is intended for use in children ages 2 to 11 years. Jr. Strength Advil is intended for use in Children 6 to 11 years.
– Children’s Advil® is available in great tasting Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors. It is also available in convenient Grape Chewables and an easy-to-swallow small tablet. Infants’ Advil Drops® are available in dye-free white grape.
– It is important to remember to always read and keep the cartons for complete warnings and dosing information on Children’s Advil® products.  o Refer to and only use the dosing device and information that comes packaged with the medicine. o If known, dose child based on weight, as this is the most appropriate method. If weight is not known, use age. Administer the appropriate dose preferably based on the weight of the child. o Adult strength medicines should not be administered to children.
– When used as directed parents can feel confident knowing that Children’s Advil® is both safe and effective.

*Based on reducing fever below 100°F.

So read and ask your doctor if Advil is right for your child’s fever.

Disclosure:  I received a gift box with Advil in it for my children.  The opinion in this post are all of my own.
